Welcome to the section dedicated to providing clarity on my clinical fees. I understand the importance of transparency and trust in the therapeutic process, including financial aspects. My commitment is to ensure that you have a clear understanding of my fees and any associated policies, allowing you to make informed decisions about your mental health care. If you have any questions or require further clarification about my fees, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.
Cancellation Policy: Please provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a $125 fee. Same-day cancellations and missed appointments will be charged the full session fee.
Please note that health insurance plans do not cover cancellation or no-show fees. Clients are personally responsible for these charges. For clients using insurance, the no-show fee will generally reflect the amount that would have been reimbursed by the insurance company for the scheduled session.

At this time, I am primarily accepting new clients with Cigna/Evernorth insurance and am currently in-network with Cigna/Evernorth for psychotherapy services.
As part of ongoing changes to my practice, participation with other insurance plans is being phased out during the coming year. As a result, I am generally not accepting new clients through other insurance networks and encourage prospective clients to verify that they have active Cigna/Evernorth mental health benefits before scheduling services.
If you are searching for a Cigna therapist, Cigna psychologist, Evernorth therapist, Evernorth psychologist, Cigna EMDR therapist, Cigna trauma therapist, or online therapy covered by Cigna, I provide secure telehealth psychotherapy for adults throughout California, Hawaii, Florida, Virginia, and Washington DC.
Please note that I do not participate in any Medicaid, Medi-Cal, or other state-sponsored insurance plans, including plans that may be administered by Cigna or another insurance company.
If you have questions about your Cigna/Evernorth coverage, copays, deductible, telehealth benefits, or eligibility for services, I encourage you to contact me or verify your benefits directly with Cigna/Evernorth before your first appointment.
I am happy to discuss insurance coverage and answer any questions during a complimentary 15-minute consultation.

To utilize your insurance benefits for therapy sessions, kindly reach out to your health insurance company before scheduling your initial appointment to confirm your coverage. Locate your insurance contact information on your insurance card. When inquiring, please seek information on:
Please note that not all benefit plans encompass Telehealth Services. Confirm the eligibility of Behavioral Health Televideo Services with your insurance provider.
For clients with insurance plans that I do not directly accept, I offer the convenience of providing a monthly "super bill." This document includes all the necessary information for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. While I do not directly handle insurance billing for these plans, the super bill simplifies the reimbursement process, allowing you to seek financial coverage through your insurance provider. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or require further assistance regarding this process.
Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises

I utilize an app called Ivy Pay to facilitate payment for your therapy sessions, offering the convenience of accepting major debit, credit, HSA, or FSA cards, such as Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, and American Express.
Following your initial therapy session, Ivy Pay will send you a text message, streamlining the process for effortlessly adding your preferred card to file. This user-friendly feature enhances the overall payment experience, ensuring a seamless and secure transaction for your ongoing sessions.
